The secret of the terroir is the perfect combination of the microclimate and the soil, the significant changes in temperature between day and night and the stony ground – conditions which make it possible to grow the grapes needed to produce truly unique wines. We use only the best grapes for our “Prīmum” line.

The Chianti Classico area is one of ancient winemaking traditions, with references dating back to the Etruscan era. The name “Clante”, in fact, is said to derive from a large local Etruscan family: it is in itself a tribute to our forefathers. An IGT (protected geographical indication) wine produced entirely from Montecchio vines with a hint of history about it.

Balance and elegance, together with aromatic finesse and sophisticated flavor, are the main characteristics of this wine.

The color is a brilliant ruby red, while the wine delivers a crescendo of sensations on the mouth and nose.

The wine has a mellow, majestic flavor which is savory but not overbearing. Perfectly balanced. Endless finish.

Trabucchi d’Illasi Amarone della Valpolicella DOC “Riserva Cent’anni” is a rich, full-bodied wine with dark fruit, spice, and oak nuances. Pairs with meats and cheeses.

TASTING NOTES: intense garnet red. The nose is complex, intense and layered with aromas from coffee through to plums, hay, chlorophyll, eucalyptus, black pepper, morello cherry, black truffle and graphite. Impeccable balance on the palate, with acidity, alcohol and tannins in perfect harmony. The tannin is sweet, initially silky, and then a little dry on the finish. The palate opens with an enjoyable and exciting explosion of black truffle and prune that lingers throughout the long, aromatic finale.

On the palate, it is immediately sumptuous, robust, and full-bodied but rounded and soft and bursting with fruit -reminiscent of the cherry and chocolate found on the nose – and highly satisfying tannins. In the mouth, scents of tobacco, licorice and vanilla.
